These pictures are from different bloggers I follow, I could not help but share them this morning. I love the lamp here.
The purple hues in these next three pictures are wonderful. I hope you find them as great as I do. Tonight I will be updating my shop pictures. L

Morning Inspiration
Love the black ceiling. I am a fan of colorful ceilings. Mustard is also a wonderful choice. I have used it many times.
I love nudes.
This one might be my favorite this morning, even though I love them all.
Notice the bench used at the kitchen table.
A dream bedroom. I am loving purple lately. See the new Traditional Home.

Here she is
This is the new color. What do you think? I decided that I will change something major every few weeks. I am not to sure of it but I figure it will be ok for a week or two. I am rolling around a couple other options like periwinkle as suggested by my cousin Sharon, and something blue. I think I need a wider angle camera because my pictures seem so far away. That may be something for the near future.
Last week there was a dining room set with the two upholstered chairs, and two regular chairs here, they sold, this hutch replaced them. I love this hutch it came from an estate sale in a lovely old home. The home was about 60 years old and filled with beautiful vintage pieces. I also love these old horse head lamps which came from and old lodge they are also vintage 1940's. They were an old faded orange and I put a patina on them. I wanted to do rust but was out of my iron paint. Alot of people have strong feelings about these lamps. Most do not like them, but I love them for some reason. What do you think.
Just minor rearranging
Two new chairs
New concept... the twin bed made into banquets with a rectangle table. This is actually a desk. There a 4 of the chairs on top of the table they were newly upholstered two of each upholstery. I'll get back later I am pulling staples for new chair upholstery project. I also need to post the pillows for NY.

Well I did it
Yesterday I was in the shop to custom paint some pieces for a young lady named Stephanie who bought a dining room set, a dresser, and a bed. She lives on Allison near King Rd. I decided while I was there to address the pink wall. It was more time consuming than the furniture. What do you think I did? I'll be posting pictures soon. I have many before shots of projects also to share. Let me know about the wall I'm still thinking of other possibilities. Maybe I'll change some walls every three months. We will see. I also have some pictures of pillows that will not go into the shop. They will go straight to NY. 124 Columbia Heights to be exact. There is a young lady who lives there in dire need of custom pillows. L

Changes
Just wanted to show some work in progress, it is hard for me to remember to photo before pictures but this is a tufted headboard via tutorial from Cre8tivedesignsinc I did remember after I had already started to snap a couple quick photos. the last pic is the footboard. It is not as ornate as Cre8tivedesigninc but it was a good quality piece. It was the old 80's pickled and I painted distressed and glazed first. then attached the foam an started with fabric my first plan was to do official tufting with the covered buttons but then I decided to use the staples and use large clavos. Finale this weekend
These pictures are of new items and some rearranging going on. Yes I have the Royal design stencil Paris in Springtime. Love it. Decided after this that the hot pink wall has to go. I am not liking anything in front of it. Next tues or Wed it will change, not sure what it will be. I have lots of Melanies stencils.
These last few pictures are behind the scenes. The long french table is for myself I silver leafed the edge it is great. The Duncan phyfe sofa is getting ready for a redo Can you guess what I'll do. She is on her belly today for breakdown. The other two are french headboards that were made into benches for a dining room table. I am not quite finished but stay tuned for several reveals.

Yippee
Today while I was working, a repeat customer Stacy Raper came in to see my oops chair. Guess what? She had seen it on facebook. Her friend and another customer Shandy I am not sure of my spelling had posted it. It is very exciting to have fans. I am so excited, I quickly called my daughter to tell her, we both worry that our style may be too drastic for a small town like Blairsville. I think we are wrong. We have many wonderful and supportive clients
. Our little town is 90 miles north of Atlanta, we have a large retired group, and a large second home group mixed in with our locals. It is one of the most beautiful areas I have ever lived. Large bodies of water all around. One friend we brought from Montana said it reminded him of Hawaii. It is beautiful and I hope to post more pictures of the town and scenery soon. Anyway just a quick thanks to all my customers who are helping us succeed. Lolly
